Nature of the service

Sapphire Trace provides AI-assisted blockchain forensic intelligence to vetted customers. Its output is investigative intelligence, not legal or financial advice. Results carry citations to their underlying sources and must be independently corroborated before being relied upon for any enforcement, filing, reporting, or other adverse action.

Coverage and attribution

Coverage of specific networks evolves with the platform; every result and report states the coverage it was produced under. An empty result concerning an uncovered network reflects absence of coverage, not absence of activity.
Attribution language is deliberately calibrated: a source that mentions an address attests discussion, not ownership. Uncorroborated single-source links are investigative leads only. Verified attributions (for example, sanctions designations or multi-source corroboration) are labelled as such.
Risk scores are model-assisted estimates with stated evidence and coverage gaps; they carry inherent uncertainty.

Terms of use

Access to the Sapphire Trace platform is governed by a written agreement entered into with each customer, covering acceptable use, data protection, security obligations, and liability. Data protection

Sapphire Trace processes data in the United Kingdom, encrypted at rest and in transit. For data-protection enquiries, including requests concerning personal data, email contact@sapphiretrace.ai with the subject "Data protection enquiry". Requests are reviewed individually by a human, including the applicability of any crime-prevention exemptions under applicable law.
